My Interests

Music Enthusiast

When I'm not working on cloud architectures, you'll likely find me immersed in music. I love playing the piano and experimenting with synthesizers. Lately, I've been obsessed with modular synthesis, especially with real synths and VCV Rack. It's like Lego for musicians – always something new and fun to explore! Plus, I find VCV Rack fascinating because, at the end of the day, it's all about code.

Gamer

Right now, I’m only playing two games: Age of Empires 2 and Halo. That’s it. No time for anything else. You’ll usually catch me on ranked, trying (and sometimes failing) to pull off clever plays and climb the ladder. AoE2 has me hooked — I’d genuinely love to build something fun with game stats someday, like a dashboard or some AI-powered nerd tool that explains how I lost (probably forgot to wall).

Fun fact: I got 3rd place in the AoE2 tournament at Clara Mexico! Yes, I showed up. Just a fun tournament for us office folks "Godinez" — but it got competitive real quick. Yes, it was awesome.

Coffee Aficionado

I'm passionate about coffee and love trying as many types as possible. I enjoy making coffee with different methods and experimenting to find the perfect brew. Whether it's using my Flair Espresso, V60, Origami, or AeroPress, I've tried it all. I also have a collection of quirky coffee mugs that make my morning ritual more fun. I'm not an expert and don't plan to be – I just enjoy discovering new things and savoring each cup.

How I Build Stuff (and Why It Matters)

I’m a big believer that tech should be simple — not in a boring way, but in a clear, elegant, and no-BS kind of way. Whether it’s clean code, solid cloud architectures, or docs that don’t make people cry, I’m all about making things that people actually understand.

That mindset applies everywhere: from building scalable solutions in the cloud to playing with the latest AI tools (yep, this site was built with some help from one). I think AI isn’t just a trend — it’s becoming part of how we build, learn, and even think. And I’m here for it.
